In a bold move that has caught the attention of both real estate enthusiasts and investors alike, Insignis Partners (IP) has embarked on a strategic venture with its recent investment into a Kings Mountain property, located in North Carolina, spanning 384 acres.
One of IP’s biggest projects to date, this significant development marks a pivotal moment as IP takes decisive steps to expand its portfolio and make its mark with plans to make a positive impact in this North Carolina community.
Noted as one of the largest development proposals in the city, IP plans include a mixed-use project of up to 5 million square feet of new buildings and 57 acres of expansive green areas for community use.
Facilities such as pickleball and tennis courts, lush parks, meandering walking trails, and an interconnected greenway for pedestrians and cyclists, seamlessly linking to adjacent city-owned lakeside properties are included, as well.
Insignis projects the total value of Dixon Ridge could exceed $750 million upon full buildout.
“We’re excited to introduce Dixon Ridge to the Kings Mountain, NC market,” Insignis Managing Partner and Co-Founder Paul Sparks said. “Submitting our application for this project is such a significant step forward for something that’s taken us 18 months to create and fine-tune. And now, everything becomes a lot more real, which is exciting.”
IP, and their partners on this project, could not be more excited for what’s to come over the next few months as the project begins to unfold during the review processes.
Kings Mountain City Manager Jim Palenick joined the city last year after having spent the past seven years in local government leadership positions in the Midwest. He’s confident the proposed Dixon Ridge project will help fuel Kings Mountain’s economy for years to come.
“We see this development as truly transformational to the community and the region,” Palenick said. “Much like Research Triangle Park has come to define the Raleigh-Durham metro, Dixon Ridge presents a similarly seminal opportunity for the future of Kings Mountain.”
Mayor Scott Neisler has also been involved in initial conversations about the project and is excited to welcome new industry to his hometown.
